Morgan State University has been awarded a three-year, $716,700 grant from an Indiana foundation focused on higher education missions, to support a project that aims to help more students complete college. Caves Valley Partners is expanding its footprint in South Baltimore, buying an 18,295-square-foot warehouse for $4.5 million. The Towson-based developer purchased the building, located at 1800 S. Hanover St., from Green Door Properties, said Arsh Mirmiran, a partner with Caves Valley. Baltimore-based Green Door Properties had planned to use the 1.09-acre plot to build 39 townhomes.
