A local brewery, which has plans of expanding within Philadelphia and also outside the city, has received a business-expansion grant that will go toward the completion of its upcoming on-site taproom. St. Benjamin Brewing Co., a South Kensington-based brewery that launched in 2014, in February this year added a German-made brewhouse — which includes new tanks and pumps — that will increase the brewery’s production capacity from 440 barrels annually to about 4,400.
