Ryan Homes has taken over a plan to build 19 townhomes near the former Florence Crittenton Home in Hampden are moving forward. The Reston, Va., homebuilder expects to start construction on the homes within the next two months. Ryan Homes acquired the 2.5 acres of land at 3110 Crittenton Place in January. John Macsherry, a senior vice president with Ryan Homes, declined to disclose the purchase price. Rosedale Federal Savings and Loan Association announced Wednesday it will to expand its reach into Towson by acquiring Midstate Community Bank. Under the deal, Rosedale Federal will gain approximately $168 million in assets, bringing its total assets to just shy of $1 billion. Rosedale ranked No. 13 in the Baltimore area with $614.2 million in deposits as of June. The bank reported $826 million in assets in a filing with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
