Baltimore City Council President Bernard C. “Jack” Young says he will not vote in favor of a minimum wage hike any higher than $11.50 per hour. Young’s comments on Tuesday come as lawmakers weigh a bill to raise the city’s minimum wage to $15. The council president said the $11.50 would mirror measures that have already passed in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Johns Hopkins University will soon begin accepting applications for its second incubator program focused on film and media. The program is part of the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund in Film and Media Studies, which was launched by a $1 million grant from the Saul Zaentz Charitable Foundation.
