A growing Belcamp can maker has agreed to purchase a specialty tin manufacturing facility in Rosedale for $25 million. Independent Can Co. will acquire the 136,000-square-foot plant located at 1101 Todds Lane from Broomfield, Colo.-based Ball Corp.. The plant employs 55 people and manufactures specialty and custom tinplate cans. Independent Can already has four manufacturing facilities and one distribution and logistics hub. The Baltimore Orioles wrapped up their 2016 home schedule at Camden Yards on Sunday with a nearly 10 percent decline in attendance for the year. The decline comes as the Orioles have been playoff contenders throughout the season and currently hold one of two American League wild-card spots.
