Maryland casino revenue increased 11 percent year-over-year, bringing in a combined $97.09 million in September. This was the first time since June that the casinos didn’t bring in at least $100 million in a month, the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency said Wednesday. In August, Maryland casinos had broken that mark in four of the five previous months. The Maryland State Bar Association named Victor Velazquez, chief operating officer for the District of Columbia Bar, the next executive director of the MSBA on Wednesday.
