Medical marijuana company Holistic Industries LLC recently began work on a 72,471-square-foot, two-story warehouse in Capitol Heights, where it plans to begin operations this summer. Among the 15 most expensive homes to sell in January, five of them were sold in Annapolis, according to data provided by Rockville-based MRIS Inc. City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke renewed her fight for a $15 minimum wage in Baltimore, with several new measures viewed as a compromise with small businesses that have spoken out against previous legislation. MGM National Harbor’s first full operating month had the expected negative revenue effect on its two closest competitors, but Maryland casinos still saw overall growth year-over-year in January thanks to the newest gambling floor.
