Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake on Wednesday is expected to push for immigration reform and highlight a new report focused on the economic impact Maryland immigrants have on the state. The report, compiled by the Partnership for a New American Economy, shows immigrant-owned businesses in Maryland generated $1.8 billion in income in 2014, and 26 percent on all entrepreneurs in the state are immigrants.
