Michael MacDonald is out as CEO of Medifast Inc. after four years. Daniel R. Chard will succeed MacDonald, who has headed the Owings Mills-based weight-loss company since 2004. MacDonald will stay with Medifast as its executive chairman of the board. The move marks a significant change in leadership for Medifast. MacDonald’s brother, Bradley T.
