Calico Industries Inc., a 94-year-old Annapolis Junction-based restaurant equipment and janitorial supplies distributor, has been acquired by a Mississippi investment firm. Calico hired Easton-based investment bank Equity Partners HG in November to facilitate a deal. Equity Partners says Calico had been losing money annually and the deal averts a shutdown of the company.
