A Chicago private equity firm has taken a majority stake in Baltimore digital marketing firm R2integrated. Terms of Baird Capital’s deal were not disclosed, but R2i CEO Matt Goddard described the investment as “significant.” R2i’s senior management will retain a considerable equity stake in the agency. “We actually had a lot of people come to the table, wanting to invest in us and we chose Baird,” Goddard said, adding that the deal will help R2i grow.
