Bay Bank has closed its acquisition of Hopkins Federal Savings Bank. The deal cost Columbia-based Bay Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: BYBK) $23.9 million, or $98.75 per share, slightly more from the original deal announced in December. The deal gives Bay Bank total assets of $650 million and 12 branches in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.
