Celebrity chef Bryan Voltaggio’s Family Meal restaurant at Power Plant in the Inner Harbor has closed less than two years after opening. The diner-style eatery opened to ring in the New Year in 2015 as the second restaurant by Voltaggio, a James Beard Award nominee and contest on “Top Chef.” His first Baltimore restaurant, Aggio, opened in 2014 at Power Plant Live. Royal Farms has acquired Fuchs North America’s 5-acre site spice and seasoning plant along a fast-growing stretch of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills. The Baltimore convenience store operator paid $6.65 million for the site, according to state tax records. Fuchs is currently constructing a new 210,000-square-foot headquarters in Hampstead.
